Rated 1 out of 5 by Liesel from Disappointing As a regular Hot Yogi (approx 4 times per week) I was so excited when I first purchased my mat about 6 months ago. And for the first couple of months, it was fantastic! Definitely lived up to the hype from the sales person. Then... it lost it's grip. Absolutely devastating to be attempting a Warrior pose and almost ending up in the splits. Not the best experience for me. I've since thrown it away and gone back to my old mat. Quite disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sasha from Non-slippery, non-stinky mat Best mat I've ever owned. Had it about a year and taught about 150 classes on it including outdoors on sandy concrete and it's still going strong. Doesn't curl up or do slide around.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ceejay from 3mm mat After my first yoga session this mat showed immediate signs of wear and tear. I used the mat 2 times a week and by 5 months the fabric was deteriorating and perishing badly. I feel very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tyler from follow your instinct! So firstly the positive - this mat is very grippy. It's the only mat i've tried so far that can stop me continually edging forward on down dog. The negative - I was leaning towards the 5mm but after talking to the sales assistant was persuaded that 3mm would provide enough cushion for my yoga. Unfortunately this definitely isn't the case! So much so that I actually quite badly knocked my arm coming out of a pose. The lesson here is go with your gut. If you think you need more cushioning, especially if you're going to be working on an unforgiving surface, go for the 5mm!

Rated 2 out of 5 by braid from Not great for timber floors I’m very disappointed... I purchased this 3mm mat after the Sales Assistant recommended it to me in-store (I explained I practice on timber floors). However I just used it for the first time and all I could think about throughout the entire practice was how much pain I had in my wrists and knees and how I just wish I went with my instincts and got the 5mm... It took away from the flow and focus of the practice. It also scuffed very easily. The positive side is that it’s pretty and grip is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by deequu from Amazing mat I use the purple 3mm mat on my carpet for home practice and it is seriously so comfortable, great grip and lovely colour. Its so much lighter then the 5mm. I wish the website sold more colours because getting to the store is difficult as its far away. It would be awesome if Lulu made the big mat size in the 3mm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by YogiKT from It only gets a star because it's pretty I'm so disappointed. I own a 5mm The Mat which I've had for over 2 years. While it's showing wear and tear it's minimal and taken TWO YEARS to accumulate. I bought the 3mm because the 5mm is just too heavy for me to lug too and from class. I used my new 3mm reversible for the first time at Hot Power Vinyasa and it's incredibly scuffed, after one session! I expect my mats to show wear and tear but this is ridiculous. My little $35 studio mat held up better than this. Bring back the old material/mats lulu!
